Good Points: The ThinkVision L191P LCD Monitor is a versatile LCD with good grayscale performance and screen uniformity. The stand provided allows for flexible swivel and height adjustments. The LCD accepts analog and digital signals, which useful for many applications.

Bad Points: However, some individuals feel that the product only has a mediocre DVD playback.


What we thought: When it comes to the looks, the ThinkVision L191P appears a bit longer as compared to the Apple Cinema Display, the AG Neovo M-17 and the Sony SDM-HS75PS. However, the L191P's has a good image quality suitable for business applications.

The ThinkVision L191P is part of Lenovo's performance display line, As already stated, it accepts digital and analog inputs and possesses a stand that swivels, tilts, and telescopes. There are five menu buttons, and colorful blue, green, and yellow icons above the buttons. The bezel on the bottom is an inch thick and is a slim 0.5-inch wide along the top and the sides.

The ThinkVision L191P makes for better view, attributed to its sharp text appearance of an LCD. The display has additional dark black and a pure white with its grayscale performance falling in between the two extremes and scoring above average. Overall, the color-tracking errors are minimal, with the shift from high to low intensity being smooth and even. The display is uniform in darkness, though there is a narrow band of light around the edge.

IBM backs the ThinkVision L191P with a three-year warranty on parts, labor, and backlight. Many consumers who have purchased this type monitor feel that it should be rated as one highest in popularity because of its performance.
